Blackening Seasoning

This is great on large mushrooms, tempeh, tofu, and seitan!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut sugar or fine date sugar
  • 6 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 5 tbsp granulated garlic or mix of granulated garlic and granulated onion
  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp dried rosemary blended into small pieces
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper more or less, to taste

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients and store in a sealed jar.

Makes about 2½ cups.
