Cancer-Crushing Mixed Berry Smoothie

Simple, wholesome ingredients! Kale, soy milk, mixed frozen berries, frozen bananas, half an orange, and ground flax.

Smoothies are a great way to sneak in more beneficial vegetables and seeds into our diet. I love how kale and flax meal just disappears into this luscious fruity drink! All you taste are bananas, oranges, and berries—it’s a great way to get more greens into your kids (or yourself)!

No one will know there’s a giant handful of kale in this delicious smoothie!

This smoothie is a great way to start your morning off right with greens. And full of cancer-fighting compounds from soy, berries, flax, and kale! Drink up or freeze into popsicles for an easy treat and Crush Cancer!

Cancer-Crushing Mixed Berry Smoothie

Frozen berries in smoothies add fiber, taste, and iciness, not to mention a hefty dose of cancer-fighting compounds. We give this delicious smoothie an added boost of cancer-crushing power with soy milk, flax seed, and kale!

Ingredients

  • 1 banana fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, etc.)
  • 1 ½ cups soy milk or other nondairy milk of choice
  • ½ orange peeled
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1 handful kale or other dark leafy greens, like collards, spinach, etc.

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend at high speed until smooth, stopping and moving unblended fruit into the center with a spatula or tamper.
  • Serve immediately or pour into popsicle molds for a healthy and delicious icy treat any time!
